Tagging along by way of Saw with the Americans-abroad-stumbling-into-death-pits wave of the 2000s, Turistas somehow misses the point while being too on-the-nose. It emulates what came before without seeming to understand any of it. The Ruins will fill this slot in a much more satisfying and better executed way. The best thing we can say is that those drinks looked really refreshing.
